PROJECTS IN THE DREAM CENTRE

      DETAILS OF EVERY    PROJECT

1.  The Christian school initiative:

Will be empowering and promoting Education for children with the main emphasis for good future, and to alleviate illiteracy in the communities of Uganda.

2.  Orphanage and vulnerable children and HIV/AIDS care centre.

This shall put emphasis on assisting the vulnerable children to reach their goals in life, training them to know God, in worship, evangelism and supporting them in their education linking them with partners in other out side country friends.

3.  Word of life Vocational training centre (WOLVOC).

This will be for youth, single mothers and school drop outs, will deal with , training in tailoring and designing, hair dressing, hand craft skills, Computer training and website design, Nursery teaching, music and Brass band, carpentry and joinery and New methods of agriculture.

According to our research, we have seen that in Uganda, especially in Iganga district, many children and youth drop out of school before completing  their studies when many parents have no money to support their children for further studies, this  has caused many children to be come young parents, by beginning poor family foundations. This has contributed to so many bad habits and complicated people in the society especially due to luck of jobs and Skills to help earn a living.    So WOLVOC has seen the need of the society, that’s why the planning committee established this project.

                                   4.  Word of life bible school of ministry (WOLBSOM)

This is to disciple, train leaders and equip them with skills in ministry, which will help them to serve the lord effectively. The bible is the centre of our faith by basing on the doctrine of lord, Christ Jesus the establisher and finisher of our faith- Ephesians 4:11,  Matt 28:18-20; we shall be awarding certificates, diplomas etc we shall be mostly emphasizing on the five fold ministries. These are the Apostles, Pastors, and Teachers of the bible, evangelists, and   prophets.

We shall see that we raise them in their callings to be active. WOLBSOM will be carrying out activities like ordaining and commissioning ministers. We have seen that there is need to train ministers, to improve on their capacity and abilities in order for them to be able to effectively spread the gospel in this predominantly non- born again community.  We want to make the school easily accessible and affordable to even our village pastors who can not access and afford the prestigious bible schools in Kampala.

We shall have three semesters in a year, and the fees will be negotiable in consideration to our local ministers.

Our goal is serve the community with passion of Christ’s love. Rom 5:1-, 1Jon 3:1- ,1cor 13:1-

5.  Word of Life Christian hospital.

This is to promote good health in the communities of Ugandan, as we work hand in hand with the ministry of health of the government of Uganda with out discrimination in religions, tribes or colour but using the facilities to spread the gospels of Christ. We shall put our emphasis on children of all types, and pregnant mothers, treating them faithfully with the passion of Christ’s love.1cor, 13:1- , 1 John 3:1.

6.  Church Planting and Out Reach Evangelism Ministry

This is to fulfill the great commission of our lord Jesus with a “Go ye all Nations and preach the gospel. Mark 16:14 -20, Acts 1:8-.Rom 10:1-20. This will be by organizing crusades, door to door evangelism, tracts distributions, gospel rallies, festivals and bible distributions to the people with out bibles in rural areas and urban centers.

We establish new churches with full development them and discipleship. By will be achieved by organizing conferences, seminars, workshop, get-to- gather parties and annual word of life churches conference, in order to strengthen the discipleship and fostering unity in the body of Christ.

We also organizing conferences for all denominations, which are, Para - church conferences, work shops etc to strengthen the body of Christ.

7.  Children ministry sponsorships link.

This helps and raise children e.g. the orphans ,the street kids, and those who are in poor families, in ministry ,by training them to know God in the word of God and by organizing children gospel crusades  ,music and Brass Band,  games, seminars, praise and worship in both national and international levels, creating partnerships and friendship with other ministries ,missions ,children organizations, foundations ,charities in Uganda , Africa, and out side countries e.g. USA, CANADA, UK etc. And even to support in education to pursue their future, by giving them school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, and etc

                                                                8.  Youth ministry

This will help the youth in training them in ministry, helping them to discover their callings in the lord. This will be by making crusades, seminars, conferences, Youth camps and helping them to get good holy marriages with uplifting skills and talents to foster their future survivals.

9.  MEN’S MINISTRY

This is to empower men in service of Christ, to be real men as it was from the beginning of creation. Men need to know that they are the heads of the families and to keep their responsibilities as men .God, from the beginning entrusted men with this earth to care for all his creations. We shall be doing this by holding seminars, workshops, gospel crusades for men, door to door and camps. This will be done in order to build or rehabilitate the broken foundations of God’s family .Eph 5:1--, Genesis1:26-28. A man is the Head of every thing on earth.

                                                         10.         Women’s ministry.

This is also to empower women in the ministry, spiritually and physically. To them meet their responsibilities as helper’s man, in order to build a good foundation of Christian families that glorifies God by selling or preaching the gospel of our lord Jesus Christ. This will be undertaken by making women conferences, workshops, camps, married seminars and 1cor 7:1-, Eph 5:1, etc and gospel crusades for women.  

                                                          11. Prisons and Hospital Ministry

It is in our vision as word of life ministries to reach out to prisons and hospitals with the gospel of Jesus Christ by sharing his passion to the prisoners and the sick, especially since these are often un-attended to as far as the Gospel is concerned. This usually leaves these people bound both spiritually and physically. Therefore it is our concern to extend the love of Christ to these people of God by establishing Sunday services, love visits, gifts, aid and counseling.

12. Agriculture promotion:

We have seen that there great need for food security in our country, and even in the world as we go on preaching the gospel in many areas we have found the problem of food shortage in our communities. This will be done to keep our society from hunger and also help our communities to utilize our environment effectively and positively to avoid drought which is a major cause of food shortage.

We shall deal with food crop as well as cash crops like Pineapples, oranges, banana plantations, cassava, maize, sugarcanes, potatoes, and watermelons. We shall much empower, the community, by teaching them the new methods of farming with this we shell work hand in with government of Uganda most especially in our rural people.

This is so important in the Christian communities, to fight poverty and hunger in societies that is our target.

With in this department we pray to God, we acquire tractors to help in the      cultivation of our fields. We shall give offers to sponsor villager pastors and ministers by giving them capital of seeds and clearing cultivation fields at a subsidized fee. This will be done inter-denominational; with the help of recommendation of their bishops

                                13.              Christian Small Business Entrepreneurs

Word of life will continue to look upon the needs of the people of God.  The ministry will assist its members by supporting them to begin businesses which can help ministers to stabilize in ministry, in full and committed in Christ.  Businesses like shops, crop produces, herd ware shops, second hand clothes, saloons, diaries, etc in order to help our people earn a living.
